Happy 150th Birthday to Edith Wharton!

Born on January 24, 1862, she lived in Lenox, Massachusetts various times from 1902 through 1906 (Campbell). During that time, she wrote House of Mirth and her nonfiction work, Italian Villas and their Gardens, was published (Campbell). She would, then, go on to win the Pulitzer Prize for Age of Innocence in 1921 (“Edith Wharton”).
