Finding Full Text of Articles

Are you trying to read the full text of an article for a class or a research paper? Do you need help finding exactly where to look for a specific article? The Full-Text Finder helps you to get from an article citation directly to the full text of any article.

  • From the Library Home Page (http://library.emmanuel.edu), select the Full-Text Finder under the Articles section of the Library Resources.
  • Enter the journal name in the text box and click on Search.
  • The results list will include the available from dates for each      database; check the date of your citation against the available from dates. For off-campus access, enter your Emmanuel Portal login when prompted.

If full text is not available, place an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request for the article.  All items marked with an asterisk on the ILL form are required; filling in anything else will provide us with more information and could help expedite the retrieval of your article. When your article is available you will be contacted via the email you provide on the form.
