Using the New EC Print System

Emmanuel College has started to use a new printing system on campus called EC Print. It brings 27 brand new print devices to 17 convenient locations on campus. As well as black and white printing, these machines offer users the ability to scan directly to their email accounts, copy books and documents, and some machines offer color printing and faxing capabilities.

How do I print?

–          Web printing: Using this tool it is possible to upload documents to be printed from any computer.  To access Web Print, click on the “EC Print” in Applications list in Portal or go to http://ECPrint.emmanuel.edu.

–          Library and Dorm Computers: Public computers in the library and dorm lobbies are also available for printing.

What is ‘Follow Me’ Printing?

–          With EC Print, uploaded documents are not sent to a specific print device, but instead stored in the print system.  Students can visit any print location on campus to complete the print job by tapping their ID and selecting the associated print listing
